The Spirit of the American Doughboy is a pressed copper sculpture by E. M. Viquesney, designed to honor the veterans and casualties of World War I. Nicknames for the statue are "The Doughboy" and Iron Mike. The statue in Spencer, Indiana, the sculptor's hometown, was dedicated on May 29, 1927.
Trap Shoot Information
12 gauge shotguns ONLY will be permitted. We will provide the ammo and the clay pigeons. If you have your own safety goggles and ear plugs, please bring those. If not, we will have some available. You may also bring a camp chair for comfort while waiting. Picnic tables will be avaialble.
This event is now open to ages 9 and up and must be accompanied by an adult.
Lunch will be provided by Family Catering.
